Astrology apps in other languages: who covers what in 2026
Most popular astrology apps are English only, including Co-Star and Astrology Zone, and The Pattern, CHANI, Sanctuary and Cafe Astrology show no other languages. The exceptions are Astro.com (12 languages), Moonly (11), Nuvastro (nine) and Nebula (eight). Nuvastro covers English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Georgian, Arabic, Turkish, Hebrew and Spanish. This guide compares language coverage, what each app offers and prices as of October 2026. We make Nuvastro and have listed where others cover more.

Why language matters in astrology apps
Astrology is vocabulary-heavy. Terms like rising sign, void of course, trine and twelfth house are hard enough in your first language. Reading them in a second language turns a daily reading into a translation exercise, and subtle distinctions — between a square and an opposition, say — are easy to lose.
Many apps also use idiom and tone that does not travel. A blunt one-liner that reads as witty in English can read as rude or confusing elsewhere. Good localisation adapts the voice, not only the words, so a reading sounds natural to someone who has never read it in English.
Script and direction matter too. Arabic and Hebrew read right to left, and Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese need fonts that render properly. An app that only translates its menus while leaving readings in English does not solve the problem. Neither does a chart wheel whose labels stay in English while the text around it is translated.
Finally, price. An app priced only in US dollars can feel expensive or awkward to pay for outside the United States, so local pricing is part of language support in practice. Native apps get regional pricing through the app stores; web apps have to set local prices themselves.
Which apps support which languages
Astro.com: 12 languages — German, Danish, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese. It has the widest coverage in our research and is free, but it is a calculation website rather than a daily reading app, and its interface is built for practitioners.
Moonly: 11 languages — English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish and Ukrainian. It is the broadest native app, though it uses sidereal astrology by default.
Nuvastro: nine languages — English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Georgian, Arabic, Turkish, Hebrew and Spanish, with local prices in 11 currencies. Nebula: eight languages — English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Spanish, per its Google Play listing; one secondary source also mentions Dutch, which we could not verify.
English only, or no other languages found: Co-Star (English only per its App Store listing), Astrology Zone, The Pattern, CHANI, Sanctuary, Cafe Astrology and Numerology.com. For TimePassages and Hint, language support is not stated publicly.
The shortlist by language need
Arabic, Hebrew or Georgian: Nuvastro is the only app in our research that lists these. It gives a daily reading from your full natal chart, Placidus houses and aspects, a numerology profile and a moon calendar in each of its nine languages. Arabic and Hebrew pages use a right-to-left layout.
Japanese: Astro.com, Nebula and Nuvastro. Astro.com is best for free chart calculation; Nebula adds live advisors; Nuvastro adds numerology and a moon calendar in one subscription. Korean: Moonly and Nuvastro — Moonly for sidereal moon and wellness content, Nuvastro for a Western chart with numerology.
Traditional Chinese: Moonly and Nuvastro. Simplified Chinese: Moonly and Nebula; Astro.com lists Chinese without specifying the script. Turkish: Astro.com and Nuvastro. Spanish: Astro.com, Moonly, Nebula and Nuvastro — the best-served language after English, with four options spanning free charts, moon content, live advisors and daily readings.
French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch or Danish: Nuvastro does not cover these. Astro.com, Moonly and Nebula are the options, with Astro.com covering the most. Ukrainian is covered only by Moonly in our research. Nuvastro also does not offer Simplified Chinese; Moonly and Nebula do.
Where competitors genuinely win on language
Astro.com covers more languages than any app here, including several European languages Nuvastro does not, and its chart tools are free. If you read German, French, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese or Russian, start there.
Moonly covers 11 languages in a native app, including Russian and Ukrainian, and holds 4.6 stars from more than 31,000 App Store reviews. If you want a moon-focused wellness app in one of those languages and follow sidereal astrology, it is a natural fit, though reviewers criticise its stacked pricing.
Nebula covers French, German, Italian and Portuguese in a native app that also sells live advisor sessions; which languages its advisors speak is not stated publicly.
Nuvastro's coverage is narrower but different: it is the only app we found serving Arabic, Hebrew and Georgian, and one of few covering Korean, Traditional Chinese and Turkish in a daily reading app.
What Nuvastro offers, and what it does not
In all nine languages Nuvastro gives a daily personal reading from your full natal chart, a natal chart with Placidus houses and aspects from an astronomical ephemeris, with a whole-sign fallback when your birth time is unknown, a full numerology profile and a moon calendar showing the moon sign, void-of-course periods and good-for days.
It has simple and advanced modes, sends daily reading emails, and runs as a web app that works on phones. Simple mode keeps each day's reading short; advanced mode shows the full chart, houses and aspects.
It has no live readers and no AI chat, and it is not a native app in the App Store or Google Play. If you want a human advisor in your language, Nuvastro is not the answer; Nebula's eight languages are the closest option, though which languages its advisors speak is not stated publicly.
Pricing is a 7-day free trial without a card, then $9.99 a month, $39.99 for six months or $74.99 a year, with local prices in 11 currencies, as of October 2026. The chart, numerology and moon calendar are all part of that one subscription.
Pricing as of October 2026
Astro.com is free, with an optional ad-free Plus tier at 12.90 USD or EUR a year. It is the cheapest way to see your chart in any of its 12 languages.
Moonly lists $6.99 a week, $3.99 to $9.99 a month, $19.99 to $59.99 a year or $39.99 lifetime, varying by region and promotion, plus a $14.99 birth chart add-on.
Nebula's monthly plan is $24.99, with weekly, quarterly and annual prices varying by source, plus live advisors at around $3 a minute. It offers a 3-day free trial.
For comparison, English-only Co-Star Pro-Star is $8.99 to $9.99 a month, and CHANI is reported at $11.99 to $14.99 a month. Nuvastro is $9.99 a month, $39.99 for six months or $74.99 a year after a 7-day free trial without a card, charged in local currency in 11 currencies rather than only in US dollars.
Which app suits your language
If you read Arabic, Hebrew or Georgian, Nuvastro is currently the option we found. If you read Korean or Traditional Chinese, compare Moonly and Nuvastro: Moonly for moon and wellness content with sidereal astrology, Nuvastro for a Western chart with numerology.
If you read Japanese, Turkish or Spanish, you have several choices. Use Astro.com for free charts, and choose Nebula for live advisors in Japanese or Spanish, or Nuvastro for a daily reading with numerology and moon timing in any of the three.
If you read a European language other than Spanish, Astro.com, Moonly and Nebula are your options. Astro.com is the safest free starting point because its chart tools do not require an account or a subscription. Moonly adds Russian and Ukrainian, and Nebula adds live advisors.
Whatever the app, check that the readings themselves are translated, not just the menus, before you pay. Use the free tier or trial to read a full daily reading and your chart interpretation in your language. If the long-form text falls back to English, the app is localised in name only.
